AUBURN — South Main Street will be closed from Broad Street to Seventh Street from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1. The closure is to accommodate installation of a water main across Sixth Street, according to city officials.

Traffic will be detoured onto Broad Street and Ninth Street. Local traffic will be allowed on adjacent side streets.
