JAY — Polycor, a Canadian-based company, will blast at its North Jay operation between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5.
Kevin Jack of Polycor alerted Town Manager Shiloh LaFreniere of the upcoming blasting on Friday. Polycor also apologized for not advising the residents before the last blast on Sept. 14, she said.
“We will adjust accordingly to ensure residents are informed before blasting,” Jack told LaFreniere.
Polycor is developing its North Jay White Quarry and building a granite curbing plant off Old Jay Hill Road.
