As a sitting Lewiston city councilor, I have never endorsed a candidate. However, I am happy to do so for Kristen Cloutier as she seeks her second term as the councilor for Ward 5 in Lewiston.
I have been consistently impressed with Cloutier’s unwavering commitment to this city. When I was unable to continue in my role as the City Council representative to the School Committee due to family obligations, I approached her to serve as my replacement. She did not hesitate in taking on that new responsibility and has served both City Council and the School Committee well during the course of her term in office.
Kristen Cloutier is thoughtful in her approach to both educational and municipal policy and has done an excellent job in considering the various perspectives of many constituencies. The residents of Lewiston are lucky to have such a dedicated public servant.
