Stags stood toe-to-toe with Portland and will only get better as we march into the games that matter most.

Yachtsmen’s win over Leavitt showed not only that they’re legit, but that Connor Aube had better be a Fitzy semifinalist.

7. Marshwood 4-1 (8)

The two remaining unbeaten teams in Class B South, Kennebunk and Falmouth, must survive the reigning state champions next two Friday nights.

8. Bonny Eagle 3-2 (-)

Scots have won three consecutive games after losing two games they probably would win now, if given a do-over.

9. Kennebunk 5-0 (-)

Doesn’t mean much as long as they keep winning, but Rams’ opponents’ winning percentage of .375 is worst in Class B South Crabtree standings.

10. Skowhegan 4-1 (6)

One week after getting trampled by Will Bessey, Skowhegan will have to tackle Messalonskee’s Jack Bernatchez in order to stay in the countdown.
