Penobscot Community Health Care is offering flu shots at several its sites throughout the fall and winter as supplies last.
The influenza vaccine is avaialble to everyone age six months or older locally. Current PCHC patients are encouraged to get their flu shot at their regularly scheduled appointment with their provider. It is important that everyone gets vaccinated. Protect those you care about this flu season – don’t get sick, get immunized.
Those seeking flu shots locally may simply walk-in at at the Helen Hunt Health Center, 242 Brunswick Street, Old Town. Hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Please be sure to bring your insurance card. If you are uninsured or underinsured (your insurance does not cover the cost) there will be a small fee.
