1932 – 2015

CASCO — Eileen Norma Wiley Hunt, 83, passed away peacefully with her four children by her side on Oct. 8.

Eileen was born in Naples on Feb. 16, 1932, daughter of Shirley and Vivian Wiley. She raised four children: two daughters, Lynette and Debra; and two sons, Douglas and Darryl. She then went on to work as a loom operator at Malden Mills in Bridgton, a corrections officer at the Maine State Correctional Center in Bridgton; and finalizing her diverse career as a Wal-Mart sales associate, renowned for her ability to repair watches.

Eileen possessed numerous hobbies and passions, including traveling with friends, bird watching, cooking and gardening — for which she had a tremendous green thumb — and of course, spending time with her precious dogs.

Eileen was a caring and loving person with a warm heart. She shared this love with and touched so many, not just her family and friends.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by her four children and their spouses, Neil, Jim, Linda and Barbara, her five siblings; her ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
