There were exactly two dozen correct entries for last week’s mystery photo. The winner, Joline Gayton of Poland, wrote in her email: “This is an easy one for me. I grew up in Auburn, went to school at EL and have been at Walton Field thousands of times. This is the playground at Walton School in Auburn. My grandchildren play here every time we go to a football game at Walton Field. They just love to play on the new boat that was built that you see in the background. It’s a beautiful place for kids to play.” According to Walton principal Mike Davis, the boat was paid for by the PTO and a Community Development block grant and purchased from Shed Happens in Portland. It was delivered in July.
