Church to offer internet-based study

AUBURN — A “Living the Questions” lunch hour program will take place at the United Methodist Church of Auburn at noon Thursdays beginning Oct. 15 and running through Nov. 19.

The video and internet-based study is for “seekers and church alumni/ae alike,” as well as any Christian who wants to engage with their faith. Besides a 20-minute video presentation by religious scholars and clergy of various denominations, it includes guided discussion, spiritual exercises and Bible study.

Not intended to create new dogma, the course does often challenge current church tradition. Instead of offering answers, it asks questions, seeing doubt as the opportunity for the real work of faith to begin.
