LEWISTON — Talks and book signings by authors, 1 p.m. Sundays, Oct. 18 to Nov. 8, Callahan Hall, Lewiston Public Library. Novelist Nuruddin Farah, author of “Hiding in Plain Sight,” will be featured Oct. 18. He is a Somali expatriate who lives in Cape Town, South Africa, and New York, where he is a professor of literature at Bard College.
