HARTFORD — Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Camp is bringing international medium and teacher, the Rev. Stephen Hermann, to the Oxford Hills on Sunday and Monday, Oct. 18 and 19. He will be at the Hartford Town Hall, 1190 Main St., on those days.

With over 40 years of experience with spiritual healing and bringing messages from the spirit world, Hermann teaches the philosophy of spiritualism and practice of spirit communication throughout the world.

His recently published book, “Mediumship Mastery,” teaches spiritual seekers how to distinguish their own imagination from genuine psychic impressions, correctly interpret spirit messages without distortion, receive specific evidence from recognizable spirit communicators, expand and spiritualize one’s mediumship and enhance existing psychic and mediumistic abilities.

The schedule is as follows:

Sunday

10:30 a.m.: Hermann will be the speaker and medium at the morning service.

1 to 4 p.m.: workshop, “Opening & Acknowledging Your Spiritual Gifts: The Gift of Healing, The Gift of Discerning Spirit, The Gift of Prophecy and The Gifts of Wisdom & Knowledge.” Cost is $40.

7 to 9 p.m.: Gallery Reading, $15 at the door.

Monday

7 to 9 p.m.: Séance, $20, advanced registration required.

The word “séance” means “sitting.” It is a meeting at which a group of seated people observe contact with spirits of the deceased through the medium, Hermann.

Those attending often observe unusual happenings, including, but not limited to, hearing voices, seeing apparitions, sensing the presence of departed loved ones, visualizations of objects and scents.

It is requested that those planning to attend come with an “open mind” and register in advance.
