Kids’ Halloween Festival at Paris library

PARIS — The Paris Public Library will celebrate fall with a Kids’ Halloween Festival, featuring Halloween games, crafts, stories and candy, from noon to 2:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. Everyone is welcome.

Chicken pie supper planned

PARIS — AMVETS Post No. 777 will host a public chicken pie supper with home cooking from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the the VFW Post No. 9787 on Lower Main Street.

Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for kids younger than 12.

Public supper date changed to Oct. 24

EAST WILTON — The date of the public Masonic supper to benefit the Building Fund at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Hall on 70 Bryant Road has been changed to Saturday, Oct. 24.

The supper will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Baked ham, mashed potatoes, vegetables, rolls and apple pies will be served with ice cream and beverages. The cost is $8 for adults, $5 for ages 12 and younger.

Royal Arch Chapter 56 to host bean supper

RUMFORD — Royal Arch Chapter 56 will host a baked bean supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Blazing Star Lodge.

Baked beans, hot dogs, white and brown bread, coleslaw and apple crisp will be served.

The cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children 12 and younger.

Church to host Harvest Festival

FARMINGTON — The annual Harvest Festival will be held at the Farmington Baptist Church, 194 Whittier Road, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24.

The family event will feature popcorn, candy, punch, a bounce house and games.

Nonscary costumes are welcome.

Mission Board turkey supper slated

RANGELEY — The annual Rangeley Congregational Church Mission Board turkey supper will be Saturday, Oct. 24, at “The Barn” on High Street.

The meal will be served from 5 p.m. until it sells out. The menu will include roast turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, homemade rolls, cranberry sauce and homemade apple crisp with whipped cream. Take-out will be available.

Proceeds will be used for the church’s mission work locally, nationally and internationally.

Fish-Game to sponsor supper

OXFORD — Norway-Paris Fish & Game Association will host a spaghetti supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Daddy O’s Restaurant, 1570 Main St., Oxford Plaza.

The menu will include spaghetti, meatballs, salad, garlic bread and strawberry shortcake. Donations will be accepted.

Proceeds from the supper will go into the general fund to help with the 2016 high school scholarships, sending several local children to the University of Maine 4-H Camp and Learning Center in Bryant Pond and maintenance of the facility.

Mashed potatoes, chicken pie, peas, coleslaw, cranberry sauce, rolls, coffee, tea and dessert will be served. The cost is $9.
