LEWISTON — The Young Professionals of the Lewiston Auburn Area will offer another workshop in its Personal and Professional Development Series.

From Buddy to Boss — Making the Managerial Leap will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the Central Maine Medical Center conference room, 12 High St., Lewiston.

Brian Davenport, PhD., assistant professor of leadership and organizational studies for the University of Southern Maine, will lead this highly interactive discussion about how to make the managerial leap.

Attendees will be given ideas on how to make the transition as smooth as possible, while developing a leadership style and adjusting to the bumps along the way.
