LIVERMORE FALLS — In the tradition of past years, the Tri-Town Ministerial Association Food Cupboard is planning to prepare Thanksgiving baskets for those in need. Residents of Jay, Livermore and Livermore Falls may sign up to receive a box of food items to prepare a Thanksgiving meal for their families.

They need not be currently enrolled as food cupboard recipients, but they do need to make arrangements to pick up the prepared basket on the day of distribution. That day is Monday, Nov. 23, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Eaton Memorial United Methodist Church at 28 Church St. Deliveries will not available.

Sign-ups can be made only during the hours of operation of the Food Cupboard, downstairs at the Methodist Church. The Food Cupboard Hours, excluding holidays, are from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays, and from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The last date for sign-up is Thursday, Nov. 5, so that food can be ordered.

Monetary donations may be mailed to Tri-Town Ministerial Association Food Cupboard (TMAFC), P.O. Box 314, Livermore Falls, ME 04254. A receipt for the tax-deductible donation will be mailed with thanks to donors.
