BRIDGTON — Police said six people were arrested Thursday evening after officers searched a home on Kansas Road and seized over 25 grams of heroin, pills, marijuana and cash.

A news release issued by the Bridgton Police Department on Friday morning said a search warrant was issued for a home at 739 Kansas Road as part of an investigation into heroin distribution.

Officers from Bridgton and the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Christina Rummell, 35-year-old John Allen and 23-year-old Samantha Stoddard, all of Bridgton, 31-year-old Ryan Benton of Cumberland, and 27-year-old Colin Grant and 29-year-old McKenna Roberts, both of Naples, the release said.

Rummell and Allen were charged with drug trafficking. Benton, Grant, Roberts and Stoddard were each charged with possession of heroin. Roberts was also charged with violating bail conditions, according to a corrections officer at the Cumberland County Jail in Portland.

Officers seized over 25 grams of heroin, pills, marijuana, scales, baggies, hypodermic needles, cellphones and cash, according to the release.
