The District 9 VFW had its meeting at the South Paris VFW Post 9787 Sunday, Oct. 18. Discussed were all the programs planned for the year, and at the top of the list was The Voice of Democracy and Patriots Pen Contest, which is a yearly program where the high school and junior high students get a chance to win a Scholarship from the VFW.
