RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Larry M. Labonte of Rumford was celebrated at noon Saturday, Oct. 24, at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius – St. John Church, 126 Maine Ave., Rumford, with the Rev. Greg Dube as celebrant. Altar assistant was Bernard Poirier and organist was Mark Belanger.

Music selections included “Ave Maria,” “Hosea,” and “Fly Like a Bird.” Special music, “Amazing Grace,” was sung by a friend, Amy Burgess. The First Reading from the Book of Ecclesiastes 3:1-13 of the Old Testament was pronounced by his sister, Denise Hebert. The Second Reading from Revelation 7:13-17 from the New Testament was pronounced by his nephew, Aaron Labonte. The Prayers of the Faithful were pronounced by his sister, Cindy Labonte. Presenting the gifts was his sister, Paula Dailey. The eulogy was presented by his son, Lonnie Labonte.
