RANGELEY — The Rangeley Friends of the Arts Lakeside Theater will show two family films this fall.
On Saturday, Nov. 7, “The Wizard of Oz” will be shown. Attendees can bring their families to experience life’s lessons as learned by the Cowardly Lion, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and Dorothy.
On Saturday, Nov. 28, the holiday favorite “Elf,” starring Will Farrell as Buddy, will be shown. In this holiday comedy, Buddy was a baby who was stowed away in Santa’s toy bag and ended up at the North Pole. The elves raised him as one of their own, but when he begins to notice his differences in comparison to the other elves, he goes to New York City to find his birth father.
Both films will be shown at 4 and 7 p.m. The cost is $5.
This fall and winter, RFA will focus on presenting more family-friendly choices. Visit www.rangeleyarts.org for the movie schedule.
