AUBURN — Saint Dominic Academy’s Holiday Festival Committee has been hard at work planning this year’s Holiday Festival, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7.
Every year, more than 60 vendors and crafters from around the state sell their handmade, custom-made and other products to shoppers looking to get a head start on Christmas gifts. In addition to crafts and other gifts, a wide selection of food and treats are available. The Holiday Festival also offers raffles for both children and adults, children’s games, a visit from Santa and a bake sale.
Each year, community members donate a variety of items for the raffles, including gym memberships, jewelry, electronics, gourmet baskets, toys and more. Donations for the raffle are accepted until Oct. 30. Baked goods can only be donated Friday, Nov. 6, or the morning of the Holiday Festival.
“This is one of my favorite events of the year,” said Principal Joline Girouard. “It’s great to see the campus filled with excitement at this time of year.”
Approximately 800 people attend annually to help generate more than $15,000. All proceeds support St. Dom’s academics and activities. This year’s Holiday Festival takes place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at St. Dom’s Auburn Campus, 121 Gracelawn Road.
