FARMINGTON — A 15-year-old Jay male denied threatening to harm family members and a police officer with a knife in Juvenile Court on Wednesday, according to court documents.

Jay police Cpl. Jeffrey Fournier took the teen into custody on Monday.

The teen is charged on a felony count of domestic violence terrorizing with a dangerous weapon and a felony count of terrorizing with a dangerous weapon. There is also a misdemeanor charge that is closed to public view because he is younger than 18.

The teen is being held at Mountain View Youth Development Center in Charleston. The case is expected to be reviewed on Nov. 5. An adjudication hearing is set for Dec. 10 in Juvenile Court in Farmington.

Christopher Dilworth was appointed by the court to represent the youth, according to court documents.
