RUMFORD — Funeral services for Ferdona Young, of Mexico, were conducted on Monday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m., at the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford, with the Rev. Lawrence Shaw officiating. Music selections included, “In the Garden,” “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere” and “Wind Beneath My Wings.” Words of remembrance were shared by her granddaughter, Becky Blanchard, and great-granddaughter, Megan Fontaine Neary, who each also read a poem. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Lawrence Shaw. Interment was in the Pineview Cemetery, Roxbury. Pallbearers were Darren Blanchard, Mark Neary, Bruce Weld, Gary Young, John Milledge and John Rogers. A reception followed at the home of Becky and Darren Blanchard in Mexico.
