GRAY — Fiddlehead Art & Science Center has announced upcoming holiday workshops.

Potions & Lotions: 6 to 7:30 p.m. Fridays, Nov. 13 to Dec. 11 — Participants will learn to make beauty products from scratch, such as soap, lotion, lip balm, tinted gloss, facial scrubs and tooth paste. Betsey Leslie will instruct the class. Admission is $99 and includes materials. There will not be class Nov. 27.

Felted Jewelry: 6 to  7:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Nov. 17 to Dec. 15 — Participants will learn how to work with fiber to create jewelry with wool, leather, sterling and semi-precious stones and beads. Betsey Leslie will instruct the course. Admission is $99 and includes materials.

Paint & Sip: 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 — Instructor and artist Helene Farrar will demonstrate the techniques of master artist Claude Monet. Participants will try their hand at the artist’s technique of painting in acrylic. A local bakery will offer desert samples. Participants must be 21 or older. Admission is $40 and includes art materials.

The center is located at 25 Shaker Road.
