1939 – 2015

LEWISTON —Raymond G. Ferron, 76, of Oxford, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, at d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston.

He was born in Berlin, N.H., May 26, 1939, the son of Armand and Cecile Ferron. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1958 and served in the U.S. Army National Guard.

He was an avid sportsman and loved to golf and bowl. He also enjoyed playing cards with his family.

He worked most of his life in sales and retired from James Newspaper.

He is survived by four daughters, Debra Gagnon of Engadine, Australia, Diane Charest of Greene, Lisa Ferron of Lewiston, Amy Ferron of Oxford; son, Michael Ferron of Standish; as well as his stepson, Patrick McKinney of Oxford; one sister, Jeannine Ferron of Lewiston; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Joline, in 2009.
