1956 – 2015

NORWAY — Clinton L. Twitchell, 59, of Oxford, died unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, Nov. 11, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Lewiston on Aug. 7, 1956, the son of John and Dorothy Norma Gray Twitchell. He attended local schools and graduated from Southern Maine Vocational and Technical Institute with an associate degree in Criminal Justice. Clint currently was working as a direct service professional for L.E.A.P. Inc. at the Turner house. Previous jobs included shift supervisor jail division, Oxford County Sheriff’s Department, Woodman’s Sporting Goods, Norway; security night watchman at Wilner Wood Products. He also owned and operated Back Forty Firearms and Supplies in Oxford. His other activities included driving his Trans Am, shooting, collecting firearms, reloading ammunition and relaxing at the family camp on Vinalhaven.

He is survived by his brother, John and his wife, Lynn, of Readfield; nephews, Jason his wife, Jessica, and their children, Maggie, Ben and Jack of Louisville, Colo.; Ai Justin, his wife, Nicole, and their child, Hailee of Norway; Joel of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Josh, and his wife, Katie, of Colorado Springs, Colo.
