In an Associated Press article in the Sun Journal (Nov. 4), Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton states that she wants to make several changes involving gun control, one of which is to overturn the law shielding gun manufacturers from lawsuits.
Hello, anybody home?
If laws are passed that will hold gun manufacturers responsible for misuse of their product, then what about car and truck manufacturers? Look at the huge numbers of innocent people killed daily and yearly.
Don’t stop there. What about motorcycles, snowmobiles, ATVs, boats and motors, personal watercraft, canoes, cell phones, kitchen knives, hammers — get the drift?
All of those are inanimate objects that, alone, can do no one any harm.
