BETHEL — The Bethel Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual crafts and wares fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, at the Bethel Inn Resort Conference Center.

Jessie Perkins, events and marketing director for the chamber, said the fair offers a low-key, local alternative to Black Friday shopping. Offerings will include kitchen items, natural bath and body products, jewelry, holiday decorations, knitted items, jams, jellies, pickles, quilted items and wooden products.

People will also be able to take a free horse-drawn wagon ride through the Bethel area from 1 to 3 p.m. The rides are sponsored by Franklin Savings Bank, and will begin at the town common across from the Chapman Inn.

For more information or to be placed on a vendor waiting list, call Perkins at 207-824-2282.
