1988 – 2015
AUBURN — Christopher Alan Moreno, 27, of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of Sunday, Nov. 15.
He was born Sept. 10, 1988, in Dover-Foxcroft. Christopher was a winter sports enthusiast, specifically his first love skiing, as well as snowboarding and snowmobiling.
Throughout his life, Chris could be found outside in the winter months creating wooden structures and small mountains of snow at his homemade terrain park. He had a zest for life that never allowed fear of the unknown to stop him.
Chris was passionate about automotive technology. He started at a young age tinkering with cars, dirt bikes, motorcycles, ATVs and anything with a motor. He then went on to share and expand his skills and love for cars with friends. He would spend many late nights in the garage with a group of friends just working on cars. He was just learning how to build houses this past summer while working masonry for employment.
He truly loved to learn new things. His friends and family will all agree, Chris never went anywhere without making people laugh.
Christopher is survived by his mother, Anita Currier and stepfather, Henry Currier III, of North Waterboro; stepmother, Peggy Moreno of Dayton, Ohio; grandmother, Eleanor Pratt of Sangerville; grandmother, Doris Currier of Milton Mills, N.H.; brother, James Morrison of Guilford; sister, Jessica Thurlow, with her husband, Michael Thurlow, of Auburn; sister, Christie Green, with her husband, Andrew Green, of Leeds; sister, Christina Moreno of Auburn; little twin brother and sister, Arrick and Alexis Moreno of Dayton, Ohio; two stepsisters, Keiko and Kaleia Sneed of Dayton, Ohio; girlfriend, Stevanie Roy of Lisbon; adorable nieces, Jayden Morrison, Arianna and Arissa Thurlow; his goddaughter and niece, Ryleigh Green; and his only nephew, Ayden Thurlow; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and an enormous circle of friends.
Christopher is predeceased by his father, Alvaro Moreno of Poland; grandmother, Magdalena Moreno of South Portland; grandfather, David Pratt of Sangerville; grandfather, Henry Currier Jr. of Milton Mills, N.H.; uncle, Brent Pratt of Sangerville; and best friend, Joey Auclair of Auburn.
He is loved and will be missed by all. #RememberTheBatman
