Maine Romance Writers is accepting submissions for its Strut Your Stuff writing contest.

The contest is open to all authors of romantic fiction, including romantic elements, so long as the work submitted is unpublished in any form. Each entry must include a blurb, a 10-page sample and a short dialogue scene.

The top finalists will have their entire entry judged by acquiring editor Alissa Davis of Carina Press. The winner will receive a certificate and the option of paid retreat registration and certificate or $50 in cash and a certificate. The winner will be announced at the Maine Romance Writers Writing Retreat on May 20, 2016.

The entry fee is $20 for members and $25 nonmembers.

Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. March 1, 2016. Finalists will be announced by April 1, 2016.
