1945 – 2015

BRANFORD, CONN. — Jeanne Lacasse Walsh, age 70, of Stratford, Conn., died Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Connecticut Hospice in Branford, after a long battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of William Walsh.

Jeanne was born in Lewiston on March 20,1945, the daughter of Leo and Aurore (Roy) Lacasse. She worked as a cook in the Stratford School System for 15 years. Jeanne was also a past member of the East End Yacht Club Women’s Auxiliary and the Ladies Guild of Our Lady of Grace Church in Stratford.

In addition to Bill, her devoted husband of 48 years, she is survived by her son, William L. Walsh and his wife, Ann; granddaughter, Emma Walsh; sister, Anita Barth of Yorba Linda, Calif. and Doris Robinson of Auburn; and several aunts and uncles.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Neil Fischbach and his staff for their loving care during Jeanne’s treatment.
