VFW Thanksgiving dinner planned

RUMFORD — Thanksgiving Dinner will be served at noon Thursday, Nov. 26, at the VFW on Waldo Street.

Everyone is welcome to come for a Free Thanksgiving Dinner with all of the fixings.

Jackson Silver Legion bulbs

LOCKE MILLS — The annual Christmas Tree Bulbs are available from the Jackson Silver Legion Auxiliary.

The bulbs are $3 each to honor loved ones. The trees will be lit at the December Christmas Party.

Grange hosting international dinners

WILTON — The Wilson Grange is taking reservations for its international dinners, which are planned for Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, and Friday, March 11.

Dinner to Kuwait on Jan. 8 will be hosted by Fatmah Al Ragom, who’ll give a presentation about her country.

Dinner to Serbia on March 11 will be hosted by Minja Nedeljkodic, who will give a presentation on her country.
