LEWISTON — Roger J. Caron, 72, of Lewiston died unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 23, at his home. He was the husband of Bonnie (Harrington) Caron.

Roger was born in Lewiston, on Aug. 18, 1943, a son of the late Laurent J. and Lorraine M. (Guimond) Caron. He attended local area schools and graduated from Lewiston High School.

Following high school he served in the U.S. Army from 1936 through 1966. Upon his return from active duty, Roger worked in construction as a master carpenter both in Maine and Massachusetts.

He was a member of the Eagles Club and was an enthusiastic football fan, always routing for his New England Patriots.

Besides his loving wife, Bonnie, he is survived by his three sons, Larry, Louie and Lanny; as well as 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; 10 siblings; and scores of nieces and nephews.
