A photo caption for a story that run on the front page on Sunday, Nov. 22, should have said Androscoggin County Jail staff sometimes crush inmates’ medication tablets because some inmates cheek their medications or trade them for other things in jail. The inmates are not forced to take medication. It was a reporting error.
