RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Lucien Arsenault was celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7, at Parish of the Holy Savior.

The Rev. Greg Dube was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist.

Music selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “On Eagle’s Wings,” “J’irai la voir un jour,” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth.”

The Old Testament was proclaimed by Debbie Stover. The New Testament was proclaimed by Ashlynn Young. Prayer of the Faithful was offered by Nancy Theriault. Offertory gifts were presented by John Giambattista and Marie Freeman. Personal reflections were shared by Bertha Kelley.

Interment will be in the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery. Military honors were rendered by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard, Portsmouth, N.H. A reception followed at the VFW.

Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, Cremation & Monument Services, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
