1954 – 2015
LEWISTON — David Everett Freeman, 61, of Lewiston, died on Monday, Dec. 7, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
He was born in Gardiner on April 19, 1954. As a youth, David lived in Dresden. He attended the Dresden schools and Wiscasset High School. Later on, he made Auburn and Lewiston his homes. He worked as an auto body mechanic, worm digger, carpet installer and volunteered at the Good Shepherd food bank. He enjoyed long walks, automobiles, the stock market and visiting with friends and family.
David is survived by his sisters, Patricia Freeman and Cheryl Brusgulis; and his brother, Tony Freeman. He leaves behind two nieces, Julie Bankovich and Valerie Zaganjori; and a nephew, Luke Coburn; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law and friends.
He is predeceased by his father, Everett W. Freeman; mother, Maxine M. Freeman (Chapman); sister, Laurie Coburn; and brother, Timothy, who died in infancy.
