AUBURN — Barbara L. Marcous, 94, of Lewiston, died on Saturday, Dec. 12, in Auburn.

She was born on April 21, 1921, in Fitchburg, Mass.

Surviving her are a sister, Phyllis Kneutrala of Fitchburg, Mass.; her four children, Joan (Victor) Barnhart of Gilbert, S.C., John Jr. (Christine) Marcous of Turner, Joyce (Larry) Lagasse of Monmouth, and Cynthia (Dan) Chasse of Phippsburg; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Maj. John G. Marcous Sr. in 1990.
