RUMFORD — The Board of Selectmen will make its selection for the Citizen of the Year Award on Thursday.
The board meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Rumford Falls Auditorium.
Harrison Burns was selected as the recipient in 2014.
The board will also hold public hearings for taxi company licenses in the River Valley. They are for Mexico Taxi, Private Taxi, Mountain Valley Taxi and Veterans Taxi.
At the end of the meeting, the board will hold two executive sessions: one to discuss the Urban Development Action Grant it approved in November; the other to discuss the final agreement with the Public Works Department Union.
