Gingerbread Day at LPL

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Public Library will celebrate Gingerbread Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, a celebration of all things winter and joyful.

There will be fake snow, hand-crafted snowflakes, do-it-yourself candy canes and a reading nook to sit with a child and escape into a book. The library will have tiny gingerbread houses and sweet gingerbread people to decorate, a silly photo booth (made to look like a giant gingerbread house), snowflake-construction, scrumptious hot cocoa and popcorn.

The event is geared for ages baby to 12, and families are welcome.
