AUBURN — Police were investigating an armed robbery at the Big Apple on Saturday night shortly before 9 p.m., according to Deputy Police Chief Jason Moen.
Moen said a white male entered the store, displayed a handgun to the clerk and demanded cash.
The man fled the store with an undetermined amount of money, and was last seen leaving the area on foot. No one was injured.
The man’s image was caught on the store’s camera. He was described as about 40 years old, 6 feet, 1 inch tall, 210 pounds, with blond hair and a gray beard. He wore a dark hoodie sweatshirt and a green fatigue Army jacket.
Anyone with information regarding the possible identity of the man is asked to call the Auburn Police Department at 333-6650. Detective Nathan Westleigh is the lead investigator.
