AUBURN — Claire Thompson, chair of the board of directors of Auburn Savings Bank, announced that William Tracy is the bank’s new president and chief executive officer.
Tracy has worked in government and finance management positions with the city of Portland and the town of Windham, and was a commercial lender for Gorham Savings Bank for 10 years. He began work at Auburn Savings Bank in August 2011 as senior lender and executive vice president.
Tracy and his wife moved from Windham to Wales in June. They have four children and four grandchildren.
Auburn Savings Bank has branches in Auburn and Lewiston.
