1957 – 2015
AUBURN — Juanita (Losey) Spiller Spaay, 58, a resident of Jay, passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin in Auburn.
She was born May 29, 1957, in Lewiston, the daughter of Robert Losey and Pearl (James) Losey. Juanita was a 1975 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. Throughout the years Juanita worked at Inn Town Bar and Riverview Pub as a bartender. On Feb. 18, 2006, in Livermore Falls, Juanita married Marty Spaay.
Juanita enjoyed going to county fairs, kayaking, motorcycle riding, playing her favorite game, “Canasta,” going to Oxford Casino, and especially hanging out with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Marty Spaay of Jay; her daughter, Jessica St. Laurent and her husband, Joshua, of Livermore; her grandchildren, Vanessa and Mason; her sister, Joan Lemieux, and her brother, James Losey, both of Livermore Falls; nieces, Jennifer and Janette Lemieux and nephews, “JJ” and Jacob Losey; and former husband, William “Bill” Spiller and family.
