LISBON FALLS — The wedding of Christine Marie Renaud and Saul Lopez was held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 3 at Holy Trinity Parish in Lisbon Falls. The Rev. Lionel Chouinard officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Normand and Rita Renaud of Lisbon Falls. The bridegroom is the son of Julian Lopez and Carmela Crousset of Warwick, R.I.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore a strapless ivory satin gown featuring sweetheart neckline. The ruched bodice was embellished with Alencon lace, satin roses and adorned with hand beaded crystals. A semi-cathedral train gathered at the center, was adorned with the same roses, lace and crystals to complete the look of elegance. She carried a bouquet of bright orange and yellow roses, yellow Gerber daisies with orange centers with full ivory wrap.
Heather Bonar, best friend of the bride, was honor attendant. Bridesmaid was Ana Maria Rogers, best friend of the bride.
Kenny Bonar, friend of the bridegroom, served as best man. Usher was Alex Vera, friend of the bridegroom.
A reception followed at the Carriage House in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to Rockland, with a stay at the Berry Manor Inn. They are residing in Woodbridge, Va.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Cheverus High School and received a bachelor’s degree in both psychology and sociology (double major) from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass. She graduated in 2013. She received her master’s degree in social work in 2015 from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She is working at Compass Counseling in Fredericksburg, Va.
The bridegroom is a 2009 graduate of Providence Academy and is serving in the U.S. Marine Corps., stationed in Quantico, Va.
