Community supper Jan. 2

SUMNER — The Congregational Church of East Sumner will host a community supper at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, at 50 Main St., Route. 219.

The menu will include shepherd’s pie, hot cross buns, salad, angel food cake, coffee and punch, as well as a raffle of baked goods and household items. Proceeds benefit the outreach mission of the church.

Donations are accepted for the meal.

Keep Me Warm Supper Jan. 2

FAYETTE — The next Keep Me Warm Supper will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, at the Fayette School.

The meal, which will be served by the Fayette Fire Department, will include beans, casseroles, salads, desserts and drinks. There will be music and raffles.

Williams House First Saturday

WAYNE — The next First Saturday at the Williams House will run from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 2, 14 Old Winthrop Road.

The community may stop by for coffee or tea, and quiche or a scone, visit with neighbors and shop at our ongoing book sale and boutique.

All Christmas decorations will be half price and there will be a new CD collection with almost 1,000 discs of classical, jazz, folk, world, movie scores and rock and roll for 50 cents each.
