1931 – 2015

LEWISTON — Rita E. Roy, 84, of Lewiston, died Thursday, Dec. 24, at her home.

She was born in Lewiston on Jan. 21, 1931, the daughter of Emile and Yvonne Cailler.

Rita was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Parish. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She was employed at Knapp Shoe in Lewiston and retired from there in the early 1990s.

She is survived by her three sons, Richard Roy and his wife, Patty, of Minot, Paul Roy and his wife, Denise, of Lewiston, Robert Roy and his wife, Tammie, of Greene; her daughter, Suzanne Guilbault and her husband, Brian, of Chesapeake, Va.; and eight grandchildren, Jessica Story and her husband, Dave, Dustin Roy and his wife, Angie, Jennifer Moser and her husband, Nelson, Jonathan Roy, Tasha Libby, Tyler Roy, Michelle Guilbault and Corey Guilbault. She also had four great-grandchildren, Cooper Story, Lila Story, Paige Moser and Sidney Roy.

Rita is predeceased by her husband, Leo V. Roy; her sister, Muriel Bonin; and her brother, Emilien Cailler of Lewiston.
