1938 – 2016

LEWISTON — Patricia M. Taylor, 77, a resident of Fair St., Lewiston, passed away peacefully Friday, Jan. 1, at home, with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Richmond Jan. 24, 1938, the daughter of Maurice and Mildred “Dearborn” Hinkley.

Pat was most proud of her family and was devoted to them every day as the family matriarch who was also affectionately known as Mom and Gram, not only by family, but by her friends she touched.

Survivors include her husband, Otis Taylor Sr. of Lewiston; four sons, Otis Taylor Jr. and wife, Bonnie, of Minot, David Taylor and wife, Cherie, of Connecticut, Virgil “Buddy” Taylor and companion, Cheryl Cloutier, and Maurice Taylor, all of Lewiston; two daughters, Pamela LaBelle and companion, Jeannie Phillips, of Lewiston, and Cynthia Sanborn and husband, Steven, of South Portland; one brother, George Hinkley and wife, Sandra, of New Gloucester; four sisters, Geraldine Brown and husband, Edward, of Auburn, Sandra Madsen and husband, Peter, of Gray, Terry Hannington and husband, Gary Jr., of New Gloucester, and Caren Thorne and husband, Leo, of New Gloucester. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one daughter, Mary Ella Taylor; and two brothers, John and Harold Hinkley.
