RUMFORD — River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition is offering free indoor winter walking opportunities in the River Valley area, allowing walkers to stay active during winter months. 

• Greater Rumford Community Center: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. FMI: 207-369-9906.

• Mexico Recreation Center: 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. FMI: 207-364-4912.

•  Dirigo High School: 6 to 7 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Walkers need to call before first visit to find out details. FMI: 207-562-4251.
