1945 – 2016
AUGUSTA — Gerald “Gerry” Taylor passed away peacefully at Togus Springs Hospice on Saturday, Jan. 9.
Gerry was born in Lewiston on June 1, 1945, as an only child to Seth and Helen (Nutter) Taylor. He graduated from Lewiston High School and served two years in the U.S. Army. Gerry enjoyed playing cribbage and poker and was a member of the 12-Hour Club. Gerry worked in various grocery stores during his life.
He is survived by two sons, Steve and Doug; and five grandchildren. He is also survived by a special cousin, Valerie Heal of Guilford; and special friends, Bob and Anita Blanchette.
He was predeceased by his parents.
