1920 – 2016
HEBRON — Frank P. Bruno, 96, passed away on Tuesday, Jan.12, at home with his loving wife and family by his side after battling dementia for a number of years.
Frank was born in Calabria, Italy, on Jan. 3, 1920, the son of Pasquale and Anna-Maria Genoa Bruno. Frank met his wife, Ida, during the war in her hometown of Raunds, England, and they married in October 1946. In 1953, Frank, Ida and their children left England and came to America. Frank was a very successful farmer who took pride in his work and family.
Frank is survived by his wife, Ida; children, Anthony Bruno and his wife, Sandra, Anna Saar and her husband, David, Carlo Bruno and his wife, Judy; as well as six grandchildren, Christopher Bruno and his wife, Neliz, Andrea Burton and her husband, Mark, Justin Saar and his wife, Jillian, Jeremy Saar and his wife, Gretchen, Ryan Bruno and his wife, Ashley, Derek Bruno and his wife, Allison; and six great-grandchildren, Devyn Bruno, Kayla Bruno, Amelia Saar, Maverick Saar, Bodie Saar and Evan Bruno.
