Historical society planning events

FARMINGTON — The Farmington Historical Society will meet at Monday, Jan. 25, at the North Church, corner of High and Court streets. A 6 p.m. potluck meal will be held followed by a meeting.

Members are asked to bring a guest and learn about the events planned for 2016.

There will be a meeting next Tuesday January 26, 2016 6:30pm at Muriel’s Kitchen at Black Mountain to organize a Nordic Development program through the Chisholm Ski Club for the grade school kids of RSU 10 and the surrounding areas.

This meeting is open to everyone interested in laying the groundwork for a grassroots program to start next season 2016-2017.

The Chisholm Ski Club looks forward to bringing Nordic skiing back to the youth of our area.
