RUMFORD — Students in grades three to five at Rumford Elementary School attended a presentation on education after high school by Bob Stewart. The students are writing applications for college scholarships.
A monthly rotating information display about post-high school options is on display permanently. Students, faculty, staff and families can access brochures and information about two- and four-year colleges, Region 9, Job Corps and technical schools.
Families or civic and community groups interested in discussing what they can do now at the elementary level to support students in their post-high school education are encouraged to contact Adelaide Solomon Jordan at Rumford Elementary School.
