LEWISTON — SeniorsPlus will present a mini-expo for older adults from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at the Kingfield Elementary School.

Snow date is Friday, Feb. 19.

The Expo begins with a breakfast keynote address, “Aging Courageously and Outrageously: Let’s Take Aging by Storm!” by Connie Jones, director of Community Services at SeniorsPlus. Jones will acknowledge that it takes courage to age well and will share tips on how to do so.

Attendees may choose to attend one of three workshops: Zumba Gold, Frauds and Scams: How to Protect Yourself and Healthy Cooking.

A continental breakfast, provided by the Orange Cat, is included, as well as snacks throughout the morning. During breaks, participants may check out exhibitors’ booths displaying information about Franklin County-area services.

The event is free and open to the public but preregistration is required. To register, call SeniorsPlus at: 1-800-427-1241.
