LEWISTON — Georgette Baillargeon, 84, of Lewiston, died peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 27, at her home surrounded by loved ones.

She was born in Quebec to parents Georges-Albert and Cecile (Jobin) Rhéaume.

Georgette enjoyed gardening and raising her children. Later in life, she occupied her time with puzzles, beadwork, shopping and going to restaurants.

She is survived by her daughters, Celine and her husband, Don Arel, and Ginette and her husband, Ron LeBlanc; her grandsons, Sean and Steve Arel and Tony LeBlanc; a brother, Claude and his wife, Mariette Rhéaume; and a sister, Nadette and her husband, Marcel Frenette.

Georgette was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Yvan Baillargeon; a daughter, Francine; a son, Denis; and brothers, Raymond, Jacques and Philippe.
